Parvathi Devi to eliminate her Sin resembled her appearance as Peacock and performed Pooja to Lord Shiva and got her original appearance back. Lord Shiva danced Gowri Thandavam here.

This place is centrally located to Bus Stand and Railway Station.

Sri Navasakthi Sri Saradhadevi was worshipped by Bhairagiyars above 300 years ago. Devi stated that she is inscribed under this place (Mayiladuthurai) and will come back soon.

Many years back when our Guruji went to Madhurakaliamman temple, Devi on his dream stated that “Sri Navasakthi Saradhadevi had a temple here and hence Homams and various good activities should be conducted in a proper way. Temple will be established along with Devi’s Prasannam” (Direct Darshan).

Devi is made up of Panchalogas similar to Chidamabaram Lord Nataraja Swami which inspires the Eyes of Devotees.

Devi’s left above hand contains “Amirthakalasam”, Since Devi is Lakshmi’s Amsam we get similar impact as we worship Mahalakshmi.

Devi’s left below hand contains “Volai Chuvadi” (Woodden Bookleaf) - Since Devi is also Saraswathi’s Amsam we get similar impact as we worship Saraswathi  - This signifies Education, Spiritual thought, Business welfare, Art

Devi’s Right above hand contains “Parrot with Akshara Mala” like Parvathi Devi and Madurai Meenakshi – This signifies Boldness, Shakthi, Victory

Devi’s Right below hand contains “Chin Muthirai” – This signifies and indicate us to leave all our personal desire, live with Devi’s thoughts.

Devi is also Raja Rajeswari’s Amsam. Worship to her is similar to perform pooja to three Moorthis, Thirty crores of Devas and Navagrihas.

Her Devotees are relieved from Manthra, Thanthras, Enemies, debts, and will attain peace of mind and good health, Blessed with pleasant married life who struggles to get married.  All enemies will become friends. All wishes will be successfully attained with many wonders.
